The training is aimed at empowering Social workers with skills, knowledge and understanding of Child Rights protection Mechanisms and to enable them to address and mitigate cases relating to Unaccompanied and Separated Migrant Children in South Africa.

Section 28 of the South African Constitution explains Children’s Rights.

CoRMSA had this capacity building and training in collaboration with  Lawyers for Human Rights, Save the Children South Africa, Department of Social Development, Unicef, IOM- UN Migration,  UNHCR, SOUTHERN Africa.

CoRMSA’s initiatives are supported by Kindernothilfe E.V, Open Society Foundations, Palme Centre, AmplifyChange and Norwegian Peoples Aid- South Africa.
