CoRMSA participated and facilitated the Social Workers’ training on migration policies and child protection mechanisms in South Africa with a special focus on Unaccompanied, Separated Migrant Children (USMC). The training aimed at equipping the Social Workers from KZN with knowledge and skills relating to migration and child rights protection to enable them to engage and address challenges faced by USMC.
This training was made possible by a collaboration between UNICEF South Africa Save the Children South Africa Centre for Child Law Lawyers For Human Rights UNHCR Southern Africa Department of Social Development
